Laurelvale's poor league performance has continued with defeats by both Derraighy and Holywood.
Laurelvale had some light relief from the league campaign with another win in the Ulster Shieldd over North West side The Nedd to reach the semi final of the competition.
This must provide confidence to David Sinton and his team that they can survive in section 1 as they enter the second half of the season.

Laurelvale scored 160 yesterday away to Cliftonville but ended up losing by 1 wicket as the home team sneaked home. Next week the firsts are away in a vital league clash with neighbours Armagh who have yet to win a game this season.
